The Cleanup Team get’s it done!
Wow! So many smiles were had at Woodlawn yesterday!
What a joy it was to see smiling faces playfully learning, but it is time to clean up another memorable event. Come join us as we reminisce over the highlights of STEAMfest 2025 and restore Woodlawn’s beautiful campus back to the way we found it.
We will swap stories as we fold the tables, strike the tents, roll up the banners, disassemble the stage, and pick up the trash. It is so rewarding to hear how STEAMfest visitors were inspired in the STEAM fields and made connections within the community.
There are tasks for all ages and skills.
With a full team of volunteers, it only takes a few hours to breakdown and clean up the day after STEAMfest.
Upon arrival, volunteers will be assigned tasks that are appropriate for their age, interests, and abilities.
Cleanup starts at 9AM on Monday, April 7th, and should be complete by noon.
As a reward for working hard, we will have lunch at Alino’s Pizzeria after we finish.
Please wear shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather and working outdoors. When you arrive, park in the Alumni gravel lot and check-in at the volunteer table in front of Woods Hall.
